Update September 2011

Dear HUMC Congregation,

One of the joys of living in Colorado Springs is the opportunity to hike up into the foothills near our home.  On one such hike to get some time alone with God, He met me with 1 Peter 4:10-11 as I gazed at astounding rock formations in the canyon below my high perch.

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”

With our years of experience overseas in missions, the training I’ve received with counseling and MBA courses, our previous years working with The Navigators, and God’s gifting and design of me, we see how He has uniquely prepared me for this new ministry with NavMissions.  My passion is to use this preparation to serve others and help send workers into God’s harvest fields around the world.

According to verse 11, I need to serve “with the strength God provides.”  We invite you to pray that my service with NavMissions will be infused with God’s strength—for apart from Him, I can do nothing.

Thank you for your partnership in this ministry through your prayer and financial support!  Karol and I are awed at God’s faithful provision through you.

Ken
